Gillian Lowndes was a daring and radical artist of the post war period. Not well known but should be! At this day art camp, for 6-11yr olds we made our own sculptures inspired by the radical clay exhibition at the gallery.
We used modroc, clay, created our own natural paint brushes to make monsters and animals from found objects.
